FAQ:

What’s Jono Pandolfi Designs?

Jono Pandolfi is a ceramist who has been making dinnerware for the best chefs (and their restaurants) for nearly 20 years. Everything in our collection stands up to the demands of industrial kitchens — it’s dishwasher- and microwave-safe, super-durable, and the designs always frame food beautifully.

Who are your clients in Pennsylvania?

To name a few: River Twice, LUCA, Pizzeria Salvy, Southwark, Stir at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Morimoto, Vetri Cucina, and F&F Pizzeria.

What will be at the sale?

We’ll be bringing a wide variety of dinnerware, from classic place settings in Dark Brown and Toasted clay to unique custom jobs we originally made for hospitality clients. There will be a mix of seconds and overstock pieces that have zero flaws.

What’s a second?

A second is a ceramic piece with a small irregularity that causes it to just barely miss the quality standard for our full-price retail and restaurant orders. In other words: It’s still totally functional and in a lot of cases most people wouldn’t notice what’s off about it.

What are the prices?

Seconds pricing is now a better deal than ever (including lower prices on each of the shapes that comprise our #1 selling Coupe 4-Piece Place Setting). Throughout the shop, we’ll post prices on the walls and on tabletops. You can expect to pay anywhere from $5 for smalls like Condiment Bowls and Butter Plates to $25 for our bestselling Mugs, but it varies with each sale.

Bonus: Sign up for SMS and email notifications at checkout and score a complimentary piece!

Do I have to make a reservation?

We’re leaving room for walk-ins, so feel free to swing by! Just be prepared to wait if it’s busy. Want to skip the line? We’re offering $5 appointments during opening weekend, from Friday, September 11 through Sunday, September 13, as well as for our opening party on Thursday, September 10. The $5 will be credited toward your purchase at checkout.
